Another Insomnia Drug Bites the Dust – Somulin Still on Top

According to a recent report on Bloomberg.com – the Somaxon Pharmaceuticals Inc. has reported that their highly touted insomnia drug, Silenor, has been rejected once again by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration), who cited concerns over the drug’s overall effectiveness, when weighed against other risks, such as the effect the drug can have on vital organs like the heart. This is just another drug to add to the stockpile of insomnia drugs that have failed before even hitting the marketplace—all trying to bid in competition of Ambien, one of the most popular prescribed sleeping drugs.

As you can see, there are good reasons why many Americans, and others around the world, are turning to alternative medicines to treat ailments such as insomnia. Concerns over the high costs of prescription drugs – in this case, Silenor costs hundreds of millions of dollars in research and development – their inherent interactions and side effects even when they are granted FDA approval, and costly doctor visits associated with their prescribing.

So where is the light at the end of the tunnel? How can you treat the symptoms of insomnia effectively, safely and naturally?

There is a plethora of amazing reasons why Somulin is the number one best-selling, all-natural sleep-aid in the world.

Avoid Holiday Sleeping Boos Using Somulin

Did you know that many times people sleep far less, or suffer from bouts of insomnia over the holidays? There are many reasons why this is a reality. It all starts with Thanksgiving, as families race to get foods prepared, many times cooking for several days to create the bounties that are shared and enjoyed during this holiday. Then comes Black Friday – the biggest shopping day of the year; the day after Thanksgiving – where people are typically lined up in throes at stores waiting to mad rush the doors once they open, at typically very early hours, to offer unprecedented holiday deals to eager consumers.

Factor these elements with work, the holiday shopping season – which always takes its toll on your sleep cycle – and the fact that many workers choose to take significant time off during the holiday season, disrupting their routines, and you have the perfect recipe for insomnia or an interrupted sleeping pattern.
Three ways to get good sleep over the holidays
1. Avoid coffees or anything with high sugar content a few hours before bed so you can sleep soundly.
2. Calm your mind; save the wish list and gift list thinking for your waking hours, so your mind can rest and you can sleep.
3. Try using an all-natural and PROVEN sleep aid, like Somulin, which allows you to enjoy a safe and natural sleep cycle.

Serelax Helping Countless People Defeat SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) Naturally

Did you know that simply by the seasons changing you can actually become depressed, or suffer from bouts of anxiety and insomnia? That’s right and it’s not a joke people! There have been numerous experts that have all documented this ailment and found that millions of people suffer from SAD every season—typically during the onset of winter when the colder weather causes for far more physical ailments to occur in the body, and makes doing everything a bit more difficult than during the warmer, more welcoming months of the year that have more sunlight.

In a November 23, 2009 publication from PRinsider.com, in a release that was titled “Daylighting and Energy Expert Shares Tips for Avoiding the “Winter Blues,” an expert reveals why this disorder commonly occurs.

The release cites,

“Summer is over and the days are getting shorter and darker – changes that can cause people to develop a mild case of the blues. For some, however, feelings of sadness prompted by the change of season can be much more serious. Those experiencing fatigue, difficulty concentrating, weight gain and other symptoms may be suffering.”

The article further explains, via expert dissertation regarding SAD,

“We have learned in the past five years that it’s the presence and intensity of light in the blue region of the visible spectrum that suppresses our body’s daytime production of Melatonin, and helps regulate our internal clock known as our circadian rhythm, which signals the body to fall asleep and wake up at proper times said Neall Digert, Ph.D., who has studied human psychological perceptions in various luminous environments. “Studies show that abnormalities in the level of melatonin, a hormone that our bodies suppress in response to light, have a direct impact on the circadian rhythm and sleep patterns and are linked to SAD

Fortunately, if you are one of the countless people out there who suffers from SAD every winter, SERELAX CAN HELP by replenishing and restoring vital neurotransmitters necessary to maintain a happy, healthy, anxiety-free and stress-free lifestyle, and by naturally and safely balancing the melatonin in your brain.

Are you Aware of the Dangers Associated with Taking Prescribed Antidepressants?

An expert 2009 report that was authored by Peter R. Breggin, M.D., which was issued to the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) citing the KNOWN dangers of patients using the most popularly prescribed antidepressants had some rather shocking information to report.

The report cites,

“On March 22 the FDA issued an extraordinary “Public Health Advisory” that
cautioned about the risks associated with the whole new generation of antidepressants
including Prozac and its knock offs, Zoloft, Paxil, Luvox, Celexa, and Lexapro, as well as
Wellbutrin, Effexor, Serzone, and Remeron. The warning followed a public hearing
where dozens of family members and victims testified about suicide and violence
committed by individuals taking these medications.”

Because many prescription antidepressants actually change the naturally functioning balance of crucial chemicals in the brain, like serotonin, that help the mind separate right from wrong, happiness from sadness and so forth, the report further purported that in many cases there can be tragic results from all of the current prescription antidepressants on the market.

The report went on to say,

“While stopping short of concluding the antidepressants definitely cause suicide, the FDA warned that they might do so in a small percentage of children and adults. In the debate over drug-induced suicide, little attention has been given to the FDA’s additional warning that certain behaviors are “known to be associated with these drugs,” including “anxiety, agitation, panic attacks, insomnia, irritability, hostility, impulsivity, akathisia (severe restlessness), hypomania, and mania.

From agitation and hostility to impulsivity and mania, the FDA’s litany of antidepressant-induced behaviors is identical to that of PCP, methamphetamine and cocaine—drugs known to cause aggression and violence. These older stimulants and most of the newer antidepressants cause similar effects as a result of their impact on a neurotransmitter in the brain called serotonin.”

How to Know if you Suffer from Anxiety

There are countless numbers of people in the US that suffer from anxiety, and many don’t even know that they do. But anxiety can be a day killer, one that makes even the most primitive tasks seemingly an overwhelming load to conquer. Anxiety can make you lose sleep, overstress you, and cause you to react in ways that you never thought imaginable.

Four ways to tell if you may suffer from anxiety
1. You find it hard to sleep at night and your thoughts don’t seem to ever end. You are constantly thinking about what lies ahead the next day instead of naturally enjoying the sleeping process.
2. You are fidgety all of the time and must have something to play with; similar symptoms included tapping, jumpy knees or having to use a stress squeeze ball to calm down.
3. Your temper can flare out of nowhere because you are so stressed out that you have trouble controlling unrelated emotions. A very common symptom of anxiety that can lead you to say and do things, and react how you normally wouldn’t.
4. You have problems paying attention to simple things, like watching TV, reading a book or reading the news. It seems like your mind is always fleeting and that focus is hard and rare to come by.
