Phenocal Not on List of Recalled Diet Pills – Ease your Weight-Loss

Amid much consumer woe over the massive FDA recall of many of the leading brands of diet pills, there are no worries when it comes to safe and effective Phenocal, which is not on the list. However, if you are taking any other diet pill to facilitate weight-loss, make sure you read the FDA report and don’t take one of the 69 banned pills.

Why the FDA Recalled so Many Diet Pills
The FDA, upon further analysis, found that the illegal and dangerous ingredients initially in 28 diet pills, but now that number has grown to 69 total diet pills that contain illegal ingredients that can cause serious side effects and even be life-threatening. A direct quote from the FDA is below regarding this massive and unprecedented recall.

“An FDA analysis found that the undeclared active pharmaceutical ingredients in some of these products include sibutramine (a controlled substance), rimonabant (a drug not approved for marketing in the United States), phenytoin (an anti-seizure medication), phenolphthalein (a solution used in chemical experiments and a suspected cancer causing agent) and bumetanide (a diuretic). Some of the amounts of active pharmaceutical ingredients far exceeded the FDA-recommended levels, putting consumers' health at risk.”
